I+D+i: SMARTFEED
SMARTFEED is a cofinancied project by CDTI through the ERDER Innterconecta program and aims to provide management solutions to to aquaculture feed processes based on new technologies that respond to specific problems related to the special needs that arise in certain phases Of the cultivation process, and that condition the productive capacity of the companies. EThe project intends to implement feeding management systems that cover all stages of cultivation, from the very moment the fish larvae begin to feed on balanced diets until the final fattening phase.
EThis project is born from the need to promote a change in the productive model that reverses the current trend based on the use of new technologies, understanding that the automation of processes and the implementation of ICTs should acquire a relevant role in the sector. Thus, the SMARTFEED project has as general objective the development of intelligent automated systems that allow to optimize the feeding processes in aquaculture facilities. Specifically, this process optimization will focus on two specific objectives:
1. Development of an intelligent automated feed system for microdiets in larval culture.
2. Development of intelligent automatic feeders through passive acoustics for the detection of satiety in fattening fish.
The project is being carried out by the following partners:
- MSS Seidor S.L.
- Feeding Systems S.L.
- Esteros de Canela
- Engranor S.L.
- Camar Industrial S.A.
